Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to iMotion Remote. iMotion Remote (the "Platform") is a web application that lets a licensed therapist run bilateral stimulation for remote or in-person EMDR sessions. The therapist chooses per session whether to hold the video call themselves on a service such as Zoom, or to use the Platform's own built-in video. The Platform is provided by i-Motion D.T.M Wellness Solutions Ltd ("the Company", "us", "our", or "we"), the same company behind the iMotion 2.0 EMDR device.
1. Who may use the Platform
The Platform is intended for use by licensed mental health professionals (or professionals in training under appropriate supervision, where permitted by their jurisdiction), acting within the scope of their license and their professional and ethical obligations. By creating an account, you represent that you hold the professional qualifications appropriate to the therapeutic services you provide, and that you are at least 18 years old.
The Platform is not intended for use directly by patients as a self-service tool. A patient interacts with the Platform only by opening a link that their therapist sends them for a specific session, and does not create an account.
2. Not a substitute for clinical judgment
The Platform is a technical tool: it displays and synchronizes a visual and/or audio bilateral stimulus between your device and your patient's device. It does not provide therapy, does not implement any specific therapeutic protocol, and is not a medical device. Using the Platform does not replace your professional training, clinical judgment, or your obligation to assess whether remote delivery of bilateral stimulation is appropriate for a given patient and situation.
You are solely responsible for: your clinical decisions; obtaining any patient consent required by your profession, your jurisdiction, or your own practice policies before using the Platform in a session; and complying with the laws, licensing rules, and data protection obligations that apply to your practice. The Company is not a party to, and has no visibility into, the therapeutic relationship between you and your patient.
3. Video and audio calls
The Platform offers two ways to run a session. In its link and screen-share modes it does not host video or voice at all: you and your patient arrange a separate call yourselves, for example over Zoom, and the Company is not responsible for that call, for the provider's availability, security, or terms, or for anything exchanged there.
In its built-in video mode the Platform carries the call itself. Your and your patient's camera and microphone are transmitted live through our video sub-processor (Daily) so that you can see and hear each other. Sessions are never recorded. No video, audio, or transcript is captured, stored, or retained by the Platform or by that provider, and the room used for a session is destroyed when the session ends. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
Built-in video is made available to individual accounts at our discretion and may be changed, limited, or withdrawn. The Platform's own bilateral audio tone is separate from all of the above and does not require any video service.
3a. Your responsibilities when using built-in video
Built-in video processes your patient's camera and microphone, which is sensitive personal data. Before using it you confirm that:
- You obtain informed consent from each patient for remote sessions, including that their video and audio are transmitted live through a third-party provider engaged by the Company, and that nothing is recorded. That consent is yours to obtain and to keep in your own clinical records; the Platform does not collect or store it.
- You are acting as the controller of your patient's personal data, and the Company acts as a processor on your instructions.
- You are not using the Platform with patients located in the United States, or in any other setting where doing so would place either of us under obligations we have not agreed in writing. The Platform is currently offered for use in Israel and Europe only.
4. What the Platform does and does not store
We designed the Platform to store as little as possible. In short: we do not store any information that identifies your patients, we do not keep session recordings, and we do not keep a history of past sessions. A patient's name is only ever shown to you live, while they are connected, and is never written to our database. A session is deleted the moment you end it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Accounts
You need an account to use the Platform as a therapist. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, including not sharing your password or letting anyone else use your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security that you become aware of. You represent that the registration information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date. We reserve the right to refuse registration, or to suspend or terminate an account, at our reasonable discretion, including where we believe an account is being used in violation of these Terms.
6. Permission to use the Platform
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited permission to access and use the Platform for the purpose of providing therapy services to your own patients. You agree not to: license, sell, rent, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the Platform itself; modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Platform; use the Platform to build a competing product or service; or use automated tools, scripts, or AI agents to scrape, mine, or extract data from the Platform, or to create accounts or traffic in a way that is not normal, individual human use.
7. Availability and no warranty of uninterrupted service
We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, but like any online service it can be unavailable, delayed, or interrupted from time to time, whether due to our own maintenance, an issue with an infrastructure, video, or email provider we use, an issue with a video conferencing service you use alongside the Platform, or events outside our control. Because a session in progress depends on a working internet connection on both sides, please have a fallback plan (such as continuing purely by video, or rescheduling) for the rare occasion the Platform is unavailable mid-session.
8. Ownership
Excluding your own account information and any content you submit to us (such as a support request), the Platform and everything on it, including its design, code, and content, is owned by the Company or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you beyond the limited permission to use the Platform described above. All trademarks, logos, and the iMotion name are the property of the Company.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
10. Limitation of liability
11. Term and termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Platform. You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion, with notice where practical. Ending your account does not retroactively affect the data-minimization commitments above: any session already deleted stays deleted.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a substantial change, we will let you know, for example by emailing the address on your account or by posting a notice on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Before filing a formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally and in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the competent courts located in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
14. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
